Enough

Enough (2005)

Materials: polyester resin, plastic, wood, paper, paint, ink

Dimensions: 30″ x 48″

This piece is a collage of prints and the polyester remnant (the medical waste bag) of a piece that served as a counter argument following from my masters thesis in philosophy. That piece connected an inflated medical waste bag and a deflated polyester resin representation of a medical waste bag with a drainage pipe. The point of that piece, as a counter example, was to exhibit that deteriming “whether an artwork is a depiction or an expression must have been determined antecedently to an account of referential direction.” (from philosophy masters thesis)
